Desiccant Masterbatch

Carbodol is a multi functional compound specially designed to a complete moisture from rubber extrusion process. Thus, depending on the material used in the molded rubber, some parts will exhibit changes in dimensions based on the amount of moisture present in the rubber product. The effect of humidity on a rubber product can be minimized through stabilizing the product making humid-free while in processing by adding a nominal dosage of Carbodol. Carbodol finds excellent use in tires, tubes, carcasses, automotive components, belting, hoses, rubber seals etc.

ADVANTAGES:

Carbodol softens under normal mixing conditions. It can be dispersed easily and homogeneously. The moisture in the rubber compound is bound chemically and porosity is avoided.
